Failure is the Access to Succeeding
What would you do if you knew you could not fail? Alot probably. Alot more than you are doing now anyways.
Failure is the biggest grip on what is possible. Or rather the fear of failure. Without failure you can not learn, you can not grow and most importantly, you can not succeed. Failure is a gift so we can learn from our mistakes.
Imagine if Michael Jordan, one of the worlds greatest basketball players, gave up after he failed to hit shots? What if Col. Sanders gave up after the first few rejections of his Original Recipe of Kentucky Fried Chicken? Or Famous Amos gave up after the first rejections of his scrumptious chocolate chip cookies? We would definitely not have a great basketball player, Fried Chicken or Cookies.
Failure adds character, builds strength and lays the map to what is next. Without that guideline, you will continue to do the same thing over and over expecting a different result. Insanity.
The best advice I have been given was to "fail BIG now". In other words, go for it. If you fall off the horse, get back up and ride at full force. Play big enough to fail, if you are not failing from time to time, you are playing too small.
Not saying that you are a failure, Not saying that at all. But if you don't play big enough or take a risk big enough to possibly create a failure, then you will never grow. When one fails, it is an opportunity to go beyond. If the opportunity is lost, then you become the victim rather than the creator.
You are the creator. Go Ye forth and play a game bigger than you know how to win. Embrace the failure along the way.......
Yeee Haaa!
