Rewards Aren't Just for Airlines!

Do something nice for yourself. You deserve it. Today I had lovely dinner with a friend and we did a full moon, releasement/creation ceremony. It was nice, red wine, delicious dinner, great conversation.

Sometimes we all need to do something nice for ourselves and that it had a spiritual flair is even more special.

Treat yourself to spiritual rewards. Attend a workshop or lecture or read a book, listen to music or go on a spiritual based vacation. This will access your higher self.

Also remember to do something for the physical part of yourself. Tomorrow, I think I am getting a facial. I need it. The medicine I have been taking has really taken a toll on my skin. Plus, I have not had a facial in 10 years I bet. It is way time. 40 and fabulous remember!

Really do something nice for yourself, it does not have to cost anything but it is TIME OUT that counts. Kissing your favorite kitty, a walk in a park, treating yourself to a delicious home cooked meal, Sleep in, get a massage etc.

These are all things our body, mind and soul crave for.

Challenge: Do one thing daily that is a reward for you. The challenge is to do it with out guilt, worry or fear. :) Just enjoy life!

Free Willy

I am glad that the Human and Animal Rights activists and orgnaizations are both coming to their senses, but I am sorry that it took a death of a human life to do so. My heart goes out to the family of the trainer at Sea World.

My point is, Orcas, Dolphins and other giant sea creatures are not meant to be captive. It would be like putting and locking my cat in my bathroom. Big enough for the cat to move around but not enough to feel free.

These giant and beautiful animals are meant to be in the wild and now people are finally starting to get it. They are outside of their natural habitat. I would probably go nuts too outside my natural habitat.

Whales are not aggressive to humans unless threatened. Whales are also not used to being held in a concrete pool.

I feel this was a cry for help from the whale. I have tried to tune in and what I get is that he is not happy. He is a very sad animal.

His own life may be coming to an end causing him to act out.

It is like the Free Willy movie all over again. If there was something I could do to free this whale, I would. It breaks my heart that he and other whales and dolphins are captive

Maybe this will be the clencher and they will see that Orca's are meant to be in the wild, the beautiful blue oceans and seas, not in a tank.

One day we will have freedom for all.............

Give a Little Piece of Your Heart Now Baby!!!!!!

The quickest way to inner happiness is sharing who you are with others. I mean REALLY are. You are a gift of life and light. When you can truly discover that, share with people who you are, you have a piece of your heart that expands and gets so big. This creates Divine Happiness.

You get bigger as a person and as a being of light. You also get inner peace. Something magical happens when you access this, you get more of abundance, happiness, inner peace, prosperity, love, fun, compassion, freedom. You get the idea.

You can either have a life of complaints, hardship, anger, fear or you can have the above. Choose.

It all begins with your sharing about who you really are........

The more you give yourself, the more you get yourself back!

Never Give Up!

I treated myself to a matinee today. I wanted to see 'Rock of Ages' but they were not playing today. I have been wanting to see 'Jersey Boys' for years and did not want to pay out the wazoo to go. So I thought, I am in Times Sq. Let me go to the box office of 'Jersey Boys' and see if maybe, just maybe, they had a ticket.

So it was a quarter to 2 and the matinee started in 15 minutes. I asked if they had a ticket and they said would you like one in the $122 price range or the $60 range. I said, let's go with $60. Turns out they have a seat, front row, center stage. How Cool! Spitting distance from the cast. Fortunately, I did not need my umbrella!

It was phenomenal. If you have not seen it go!

I walked out moved by their story of determination and will. I was blown away by the singing and I saw what it really takes to live a life that you want.

I also saw how much I love performing and haven't really performed in 10 years or so. I have been singing all night. Mostly to Zoe.

But what happened, is the universe rekindled a part of me that hasn't been around alot. I reconnected and I actually feel and look younger. I LOVE music and I LOVE theatre.

But I got reconnected with my passion for the arts.

It is amazing. I feel a sense of freedom I have not had in a while.

I love the message of the show. Perseverance, prevails!

Two things I want you to get out of this. 1) Persevere with what your heart desires, do not give up 2) Reconnect to that creative part of you that you have lost and embrace it!!!

Nurture and Grow Your Dreams.

What you give your attention to grows. Especially now when the manifestation energies are soaring high. Consciously spend 5 minutes a day or more focusing on that what you want. Tell people what you want. Share it with people. Don't hold it to yourself. The more you tell people the more energy you give it.

We have the notion not to tell what you want for you will "jinx" it. That is a load of malarkey. It is universal law, the more you put your attention to it, the more it grows. You can only jinx it if you bring doubt or fear to it.

All about positive attitude. The more you remain positive, the more you will gain what you want. Really see yourself having it and letting nothing getting in your way. See it, Feel it, Taste it, Touch it, Sense it.

Look at the Olympic Athletes. They work their whole life for that moment of glory. Whether they come in first or fifth, it is an honor to be there. There is enough in the universe for us all to have what we want. There is no shortage.

Why some people have what they want and others don't, is not the make up or DNA, it is the I CAN attitude. It goes along way.

So look at what you want as if it was a giant Sears's wish book that I used to love looking at as a kid.

It is your game, play it big.

Do the Abundance Dance.....

Abundance, abundance, abundance~!!!!! There is enough for us all! There is no shortage of abundance since it is a universal energy. It is not a personal phenomenon. One person has abundance meaning it is available to all.

We forget this. We think we don't have abundance, there must be something wrong with us or we just don't have what it takes but not true. Abundance is a gift we give our self. It is our divine right to live an abundant life.

We think because we go through hard times and struggle that we always will. Nope. We go through it to learn a lesson. We are abundant beings and we forget, having it be something that we repeat over and over and start living as the truth.

We tell our self life is hard, money is tight, I can't do this, etc etc etc. and this becomes our truth. What would happen if you altered your language, or your context, I live an abundant life, Abundance comes to me easily and naturally or Abundance is my birthright.

Changing your thoughts, alters your life. Start creating a life of abundance and see what happens........

I'm abundant, you're abundant, he's abundant, she's abundant, wouldn't you like to be abundant too......... be abundant, be be abundant!

Good Good Good Vibrations

Roses are red, Picasso did art, now is the time, to follow your heart.

I know I have talked about following your heart for a long time. It is something that is getting more and more critical. We are now in the Year of the Heart chakra and while some things are falling away, we are still living resistance as human beings. This is the time to shift it. We can't rely on it just happening, we have to do this. What ever you need to do to raise your vibration, now is the time to do it. It is time to release all attachments to physical objects, the past, the fear and everything else that we carry that is not in alignment with our truer self. Pretend you have amnesia and create a fresh start for yourself and your life.

You heart knows the answer, forever and always. Our mind tries to talk us into something but our heart knows the truth.

Your heart is your art or your art is your heart. However you want to look at it. It is all inside of you following your art/heart.

There is no better time than the present. It will raise the vibration of both you and of the planet. That is why we are here. To Raise the vibration of the planet, to live, to grow, to learn and to heal and make a difference. Life is not easy but it is simple. We know what there is to do. We just don't listen.

TRUST yourself. The angels are working overtime to make this happen. You have to do your part too. TRUST.

Let's Get Excited!

Egypt is coming up and I am soooooooooooooo excited. I am seeing Egypt Everywhere. I started getting some things today. I started looking at details. I have been channelling. This is going to be a trip of a life time.

It is a little more than two months before we go. I can hear the music, smell the food and see the pyramids already. I am already feeling Isis' energy and can feel the profound difference it will make.

Excitement for something only enhances what is possible. The more I get excited about Egypt, the more things start happening in all areas of my life. It is magical.

Anytime you bring excitement to something, then you begin seeing things happen all around you. That is the game of life is to have excitement around you.

Excitement can raise your vibration. The higher the vibration the more you can manifest. This is good! There are lots of ways to raise your vibration and excitement is one.

Come on and get excited. Find something today that elevates your excitement and see how much better you feel. Play hard. Laugh out loud.

Excitement can be over cupcakes, music, museums, outdoors, a trip you are taking, etc etc etc.

Truth Be Told

Truth or no Truth...... Hmm it is an interesting theory. Do you tell the truth always? Are you always kind?

I heard this great thing tonight. Speak the truth and speak kind words. Never speak the untrue and be kind and never speak the truth and not be kind.

The two together are very powerful.

It is definitely food or thought.

How often do we lie and are not kind. If we could live from that phrase alone, life would alter.

Find ways to say things that are kind without lying. Find ways to tell the truth without being unkind.

However you say it, it boils down to living from your heart and soul and living to empower others.

Food for thought....... Now eat a cookie while you are thinking of it.

You Are Who You Say You Are.

No one is a something. Like no one is a jerk. People can be jerks but no one IS one like it is the truth. People do and say stupid things but we are all one.

People can only show up for you how you create them. So if you perpetually say someone is a jerk, they will continue to show up that way. If you perpetually say, someone is great, they will show up that way.

Simple but not easy.

When you alter your thoughts, no matter what they are, life around you changes. From good to bad or bad to good is up to you. Why not create something good for people.

The more you are convinced that a person is that way, the only way they can be is that way around you. Let go of your opinions and create something magical.

Challenge--Try creating everyone around you. Have them be a creation. You will notice that they transform and you will be happier.

Hello Universe is Calling....Are you Listening?

Sometimes you hear a word, phrase or even song and you think that is for me. Why was I meant to hear that?

There is a message in everything you do, see, hear and feel. The angels and universe are always talking to you but you aren't always listening so they have to find ways to penetrate you unconsciousness so they do it in ways you can receive it.

Books fall off shelves. Songs play over and over. You over hear conversations that people are having. What ever it takes for you to get the message.

When you hear, or see something in 3's, take it as a message that it is for you. If three different people suggest that you read a particular book, take it as a strong urgence from the universe. They are saying "Helloooo, Wake up.......... We are trying to talk to you!"

If you ask for messages, they will come to you in sometimes unexpected ways. TRUST.

Now is the time to listen to the messages you receive. Start becoming more aware of what is happening around you. Observe. Be Aware. Pay attention.

If you spent 5 minutes a day becoming more aware, you would find your messages would come through faster and easier.

The World According to Choice

Life is about Choosing. Ever noticed that life throws a multitude of choices your way and they are never easy. It is not like, Chocolate cake with chocolate icing or chocolate cake with vanilla icing. That would be some what easier. Although.........could be difficult at times. (When it comes to chocolate, Both) :)

These are life choices that affect your life, they affect your future. Should I move to Hawaii? Should I marry this person? Should I do this? That?

These choices create a great deal of unnecessary stress in our lives. Not the choices themselves, but the world that we create when we do not choose. We worry, ponder, question and such are we making the right choice. Then we suffer over did we make the right choice or not.

There is no right choice. One is given by your heart and one is given by your ego.

You heart knows the truth even if your ego tries to talk you out of it. Your heart is your best friend and when it is not in full expression, it is heavy and sad. It is longing for something.

You need to listen to your heart. It will always tell the truth. Sometimes our choices are not easy but the heart guides us always in the right direction.

When you trust your heart, there is no suffering. Just Choose. Then your heart is as happy as the sunshine!

What would it take to have 2010 be a WIN! You creating it that way. Everything you create does come to fruition. Either you are living by default or by creation. If you are not creating life everyday, you will slip into a pattern of living by default. What if this was the year, all your dreams come true.

We are not in the practice of living a life that is created. But what is interesting is that when we do create things, we are often surprised by their manifestation. Forgetting we created it in the first place.

Now that you are aware of this magical phenomenon, what is stopping you from living and creating a life you love. One simple answer.......... YOU.

You are the only one putting limits in barriers in you having an unleashed life. No one else.

Bright Lights......... Big Heart

Living from your heart is the most rewarding and fulfilling experience one could hope for.

When you live from your heart, your heart shines and leads the way. It is like a ginormous spot light. People are drawn to you, situations are drawn to you, like attracts like. You will have higher vibration people around you keeping and maintaining your vibration elevated.

You will find your passions and your desires will come easily. Things will get clearer and the next steps will be made visible.

But then it is trusting and allowing the universe to provide. Take it one day at a time. Everyday you can take one more step or action to fulfilling your desires.

This is the year of the Heart Chakra and of the Dolphin which works on heart energy. Life is meant to be enjoyed.

Yes. When was the last time you made a wish. I mean a real wish. Probably when you were 5 and you wanted a pony. We stop wishing when we are small. We may wish once or twice a year if we are lucky, on our birthday and when an eyelash falls.

What if you make a habit to wish every day. When you get out of bed in the morning, you make a wish. Everyday you ask the universe for something you want. Everyday, you make a wish just like you did when you were 5. What is the worst that can happen? It doesn't happen right away?

But what if you do make a wish and the universe complies? No matter how long it takes, it comes true. What do you have to lose? It is about tapping into that inner wishing......... Seeing that you really are deserving to having what you want. No kidding....

It is like the New York Lottery, "Hey, you never know"................

Doing what you love and loving what you do are a key element to happiness and success in life. It doesn't matter what it is as long as you love it.

When you are doing what you love, you look, feel and act more youthful. You send out a beam of light that has others want to be around you. Then you have the opportunity to make a difference. People love being around happy people. Haven't you noticed that? The more positive attitude you have the more you radiate light.

People who aren't doing what they love are usually not happy in some sense. You were put on the planet to do what you love, love what you do and spread light.

When you are happy, it is the highest vibration and it emanates all around you. Things seem to fall magically into place. When you are happy, your level of stress is lower, you eat healthier, you exercise more (Naturally) and then you are focusing on what you want more. When you focus more on what you want then you have a better chance of being happy. Catch 22 but it works.

No one or nothing can make you upset. Only you have the capacities to be upset. People do and say stupid things but you have the choice whether to react or not. So in other words, you could be happy or not too.......... At any moment.

I Will Survive

I survived another snow storm, and that is what it felt like, survival. I was so hoping my meeting was cancelled but to no avail. I packed my duffel bag with over night clothes, some snacks and went to the city.

All in all It wasn't SO bad, for snow that is. I made it in and home without falling, that is a plus, without getting frostbit, that was a plus and without losing my sanity, PLUS PLUS PLUS!

I just don't like snow and after living in NYC for 14 years, you would think I would get used to it. I know we have another snowstorm coming Monday. (GEE THANKS UNIVERSE) but I am definitely rearranging my schedule to be at H-O-M-E!!!!!!

I will say, there are worst things than being caught in the snow. I am out of red velvet cake. That is a true bummer.

In one way it is good, but I love my cake. I am doing weight watchers so I can have a little here and there. (and I have lost 3 pounds since starting last week!!!!!)

So another snowstorm has come and gone and once again, I survived it. But boy did I wish I was with the dolphins today Now on to bigger and better things.........Sleep!

Whoo Hoo, yea boogie.

The Weather Outside is Frightful...........

SNOW SNOW SNOW. Mermaids don't like snow. I want to hibernate. I want to be in the water, not Snow.

Well I guess you have to make due with what you got. My aunt called me today and asked me if I had enough food. I said I have Cake mix and Icing............. I am all set :) I will make a yummy cake tomorrow (that is on my diet of course) and freeze it and enjoy it over the next two weeks.......... Yum, Have my cake and eat it too.

The only thing that bites, is I have to be in the city tomorrow evening and I am trying to work it all out. No school closing for me. Nada, Have to be there. May have to stay overnight but the show must go on.

So again, make due with what you got. Dress warm, Thank goodness for my new coat, Drink Hot Chocolate, Wear alpaca socks and take a hot bath when you come home. If that all fails, Put the cat under the covers at the foot of your bed to warm your feet. That always works too.

How can snow birds do it?????????? Snow is just not for me. I am living in the wrong city. I guess that is one reason to move out of NYC, WARMTH AND SUN. I liked the thought of snow as a kid because growing up in Memphis, the mere mention of snow would close schools. YEE HAA. But living in NYC for 14 years, I think I have fulfilled a life time of snow and it is time to move on. Water Here I come!

Blessings in Disguise

Count your blessings, life really is amazing. Everything happens for a reason and every person in front of you is a teacher (as you are to them). There is no
mystery, it is only what you create.

look at any situation in your life and find the blessing in that situation. For example, I have had cancer (3 times) but I am alive and am making a difference for others. That is a blessing.

My (brand new) contact ripped. It didn't rip in my eye. That is a blessing.

I tore my coat and a new one arrived today, right before the big storm!

I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night!
Every situation has a sunny side.

And all that jazz........

I Believe in Miracles.

It is song time again and the song running through my head today is " I believe in Miracles"

Well I do. Don't you? Life in and of itself is a miracle. We are here, living, breathing, laughing, beings of light.

We can create anything. We have the power of intention. We can manifest things. We can breathe light into things.

We can swim with dolphins. We can travel to space. We can go to places like Egypt and experience the ancient civilizations.

We can paint. We can sing. We can dance.

We can speak in multi-languages. We can understand things that we know nothing or have no concept of.

We can do the impossible. We can beat cancer. Multi-times. We can chat with people all over the world via Internet.

We can explore who we are and are not stuck with anything. There is nothing we can't be, do or have. We can do most anything. And being sexy while doing it :)

We, each of us, are living, walking, breathing miracles.

Now that is a slice of life............... HOOO YAH!

We Are Magic!

I was listening to music today which I often do when I am home, and Olivia Newton-John's "Magic" came on. The lyrics stuck in my head. "You have to believe, we are magic, nothing can stand in our way".

I feel like it was the perfect message and reminder for me today. We are magic and nothing can stand in our way.

Nothing can stand in the way of your intention unless you let it. Your intention is golden. The more you focus on your intention, the more you it will come to you. Make your intentions clear.

You have the power to create any and everything in your life. From the minute detail to the most extravagant thing.

Today, I saw I was resigned about Money. Money comes and Money goes. But then I started getting other people's resignation. I let go of fear, being pissed off and worried about money and then like magic someone who owed me money, that I had written off ever being paid back, called out of the blue, was in the neighborhood and came by and gave me a check. We had a great conversation and I really got what a great person she is. That is what I mean by magic. Giving up something makes the room for something else to appear.

The moment I let go of my fear, magic happens. We are magical beings.

Fear holds you back, it doesn't matter what area, fear will hold you back. Let go of the fear and magic will happen. Boom. Like clockwork.

Knock Knock........Life Calling

The universe works in mysterious ways that sometimes I have not figured out. Today has been full of challenges in many ways, but at the end of the day, I have over come them all.

You have to keep going, one day at a time. I think that is it. There is no secret to this madness. There is no truth either. It is just everyday, create a fresh start.

Nothing from the past has anything to do with who you are today. The future hasn't happened yet.

You are only what you create yourself to be. Everything else falls under false pretenses.

Life is a game. You are either playing and winning or you are not playing and have no results.

Choose........... Monopoly or Checkers............ Either is fine.

But play full out. No matter what you do. Play full out. :)

Then life gets real exciting.

I Can See Clearly Now...........

So when I turned 40, my eyes shifted. Suddenly I could not see. Seriously. I was looking at a dictionary and could not read it. SO I thought, I will go get my eyes checked, it has been about 2-3 years anyways. I wear glasses but not all the time and lately only when my eyes were tired or have been bothering me. Which lately, was a lot.

Turns out, my eyesight is not good. The doctor recommend glasses or contacts all the time. Ok. I wore contacts in my early 20's then my eyes straightened out. No Problem. Well, today, I had to go get "fitted" for contacts since the other day my eyes were dilated and I could not really see to put them in or take them out. It was boot camp.

I tried and I tried and I tried. Finally I got the right one in. The left one was more challenging. We finally got them in and boy were my eyes mad. Red, Itchy and Burning. Now, take them out. Nope, wasn't happening. My eyes were not going to cooperate.

My right eye contact finally came out but my left eye would not budge. I think the assistant had to take the left one out. Ok, put them back in. (I just took them out)What?

So I got the right one in very quickly and the left still gave me challenges but I eventually got the contact in. Now, take them out. I felt like I was doing push-ups, with my eyes. I got the right one out easier but the left, not happening. My left eye was not going to make this easy. FINALLY I got it out only to be told to put them back in. We went through this again and then she told me to leave them this time. Still took something to get them in but I did. I failed contacts 101. It took me an hour. I told the assistant that after this, I wasn't sure I wanted contacts and that if I had to go through this everyday, I would just wear glasses. It was a nightmare. She said to wear them everyday for a week and only wear my glasses before I put them in and after I took them out. No Fair.

To Top it off,I was late where I was going and by this time had no makeup on. Stoopid Contacts!!! :( Although did meet a guy........ we exchanged numbers. :)

ANYWAYS, They were only in 3 hours and I could not wait to get home and take them out. (And then have pie, it was such a stressful day, I rewarded myself with pie. I did not go over my points today on Weight Watchers either).

So I got home, said I was going to take my contacts out, and have pie. In that order. Although under normal circumstances, I would have liked the pie first but these are not normal circumstances.

Again it took me a good bit of time to get the right one out. The left one almost spent the night in my eye. After asking the angels to seriously help me, I finally got it out. Then I had to remember to put on my glasses.

Oy Vey! Good news is I can see!

Don't Worry Be Happy ;)

Worrying makes no difference. Nada. None. Zip. But yet we are addicted to it. Why? We know it doesn't do anything yet we continue to do it. All the time.

Perfect example. I had my monthly scan last week. Normally I go to the doctor the day after my scan, But for some reason this time, I was scheduled for the followup this week. So I worried. Alot. When I got to my appt. today, I was worried. Then I saw the nurses and they didn't see me and I worried. If it was clean, they would have told me right. (They actually didn't see me). All this nonsense and I was driving myself insane.

It turned out, my scan was fine. I am fine. I am clean and clear but no matter how many times I go through it, I always worry.

What would it look like if the word worry was not even in our vocabulary. It exists in some sense because the word was created and words create our world. But what if...........

What if we didn't rely on the word. What if we could create something else.

I don't know...... Just thinking aloud here.

Stand Up For Your Beliefs..... And Don't Back Down

Why do people just throw trash on the subway or a street when the trash can is near by. I don't get it. Do people have to be so lazy that they just drop trash where they feel like it? It drives me nuts.

I saw two grown adults (late 50's or early 60's) deliberately drop trash on the subway. When I asked them why they did it, they got defensive. I called them on it. They were shocked that someone would say something much less not back down. I picked up the trash and threw it away myself when I got off the train. Why do I have to ride in a subway that is dirty because someone else's negligence and laziness?. I stood my ground with it. I think the man was embarrassed and the woman was shocked that this person would actually have the 'balls' to say something. Who knows if it made a difference or if they will do it again. But for me, it was an integrity issue to not say something.

Stand up for what you believe in! Don't back down. People are unconscious and asleep. It takes you, people who are awake, to make a difference. Take it on that you are the one and that no one else is coming and if there is a difference to be made, you can do it!

Whether it is litter, or whatever else that drives you nuts, take a stand. No one else is coming if you don't.

One person, one commitment at a time and the world will alter.

40 and Fabulous!

I had an interesting conversation today. It is regarding truth. How it came about was I was talking to my friend Mary, and it got really clear that I was completely resigned and cynical about ever meeting someone to settle down with. I have it as the truth that I am 40, too old, to frumpy, too this too that etc etc etc to actually meet and go out with someone. That is a story that I have been living in for a decade, even before I turned 40. I made that story up.

There is no truth in reality. In Reality, I am 40 and single. I can either have all the reasons and justifications to why I am not or I can be 40 and fabulous. That is more fun.

We live in a story most of the time about ourselves, others and what we think we can and can't do. None of which is true. if you have a "perception" about someone or something, it doesn't mean it is true, it is just your perception. If you think someone is a jerk, then they are by virtue of your perception. It doesn't mean people don't do jerky things, they do, but they are not necessarily a jerk.

My perception of myself changed in this conversation. I created 40 and fabulous rather than 40 and frumpy, or what ever I was telling myself. So now I am creating dating. Hey why not?

So inside of being 40 and fabulous, Nancy, my best friend, and I were in Atlantic City this weekend. We had a ball. We played slots, we laughed, we walked the boardwalk. We even said if we hit the big jackpot, we would "buy" me a husband and fly to Las Vegas and get married. (She is already married). We didn't win but we had a ton of fun. Now between the laughing and having fun and the conversation I had about truth and reality, I really saw I am ready to meet someone and fall in love and create the next chapter in my life. (Know anyone who would want to be with a 40 and fabulous woman??????????? Please email me if you do. Seriously)

Life isn't about finding yourself, it is about creating yourself.

The stories you have created aren't the truth. If you made them up, you can make up something else. Why not create something that excites you? Have your fabulous life begin today......... Why wait????? Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Go for it!
