When Life Hands you Lemons........

When life hands you lemons make lemonade, or so the story goes. It is easier said than done. The universe works in strange ways. Things happen for a reason. Go with the flow. It is all good.

Except when you take that first sip of that Lemonade, sometimes it makes you pucker, and is sour. Kinda like life sometimes. When things go awry, you can either dwell on the things that make (made) you miserable or you can dwell on what you can create.

Today for example, my portable hard drive decided today would be a good day to not work. It would have been great to have notice but technology has a mind of it's own. I have (currently) lost all data for my work, all my pictures from all my trips and all the classes I am developing. Was I happy. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I was not happy with life, the angels or my stupid hard drive. But after a bit, I made lemonade (not literally) and went on with my day. Not that I am still not frustrated by it, but I saw what a great opportunity it was to create a new. (As opposed to re-inventing the wheel.) New Ideas, New projects. Fresh start.

Now, I will do what I can do to give it a "fresh squeeze", but for now, I have lemonade. It is what I got. No need in getting upset because I have lemonade, I just have lemonade. Until I do something about it, I will have lemonade.

In other words, don't let life get you down. Things happen, bring light to the situation and go forth.

Message: Only when you can accept what you have, then you can create something new. When Life hands you lemons, suck it up and drink the lemonade. It will quench your thirst and give you some new actions to take. Take the actions and you will have a new refreshing twist.

Open wide and Drink fast.......... There is a world out yonder to create......
