Joy Shines Bright in Your Heart Tonight

Where is your joy? Is it under your bed? or on your couch? or over the county line?

No your joy is within you. There is a song I just remembered from when I went to vacation bible school in the 70's yes, ions ago. The song goes, "I got the Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy down, in my heart, down in my heart, down in my heart. I got the Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy down in my heart to stay". Except I always thought it said TUESDAY. I wondered why only Tuesday's you had joy and the rest of the days you didn't. I looked forward to Tuesdays.

Anyways, Joy lives with in. Look for the little things in life and look for the joy. You will never find it with out looking inside. Even if you are in the moment of despair, sad, depressed, etc. Joy always lives within you.

Today I was upset about something and Zoe came and got in my lap. Funny how kitties know to bring joy when we can't see it. I remembered, I create everything in my life. Nothing happens to me. Joy lives within. No one can take it away and no one can keep you from it. You have the joy down in your heart...........to stay.
