New Dress Code

Life is strange. I mean really strange. Well maybe NYC is strange. I was coming home from East West Bookstore today and saw a man and a woman in coats, scarves, hats and no pants. Yes, you read right, no pants. I had to do a double take.

Then as I approached Union Square, I saw 1000 people at least wearing no pants and chanting "DROP YOUR PANTS". OK............

I went to Whole Foods, and there were people in there with out pants. This was getting a little surreal.

I mean if you are going to do a protest about not wearing pants, do it on a day where it is at least warm. In my opinion. But no one asked for my opinion.

I see a young couple (24 or so) on the subway with you guessed it, no pants, and I said "OK I am curious, what is with the no pants thing" His response was, "I just didn't feel like wearing them today". I said but what about the other people not wearing them......

He said he didn't know about them, he was more comfortable with out them. I finally got out of them it was a protest of some sort.

His final comment was "it is a lifestyle choice".

If you say so.

I still say this protest could have taken place when it was warmer.

But hey, it is up to them.

New Dress code? I hope not........

I will continue to wear my pants with pride.
